PROGRAM

👉 0- Algeciras:

We will meet in Algeciras where we will spend the night, have dinner, get to know each other, etc.

👉 1- Tarifa - Tangier - Casablanca: 338 km

We'll board the first ferry in the morning and cross the Strait to Tangier. From there, we'll head to Casablanca.

We will be staying in the City Center in a 4-star hotel.

👉 2- Casablanca - Essaouira: 371 km

From Casablanca, we'll head to Essaouira, "The Pearl of the Atlantic." There, you can enjoy this beautiful city.

👉 3- Essaouira: Rest Day

👉 4- Essaouira - Sidi Ifni : 343 km

Sidi Ifni was a Spanish town until 1958. We'll see the Spanish buildings of that time.

👉 5- Sidi Ifni - El Aaiun: 493 km

Traveling along the Atlantic coast and enjoying its beaches and cliffs, we arrive at El Aaiun. It was the capital of the former Spanish Sahara until December 1975.

We will pass through Tarfaya, the town where the Moroccan fishing fleet and the boat graveyard are located.

El Marga is the coastal area of ​​El Aaiun which we will also visit

👉 6- El Aaiun - Dakhla: 532 km

Villa Cisneros, also known and renamed as Dakhla or ad-Dajla, (Arabic: الداخلة‎, "The Interior") is a city in Western Sahara. Like most of the territory, it is occupied by Morocco, which considers it the capital of the Dakhla-Río de Oro region.

In this city the last Spanish flag was lowered in the Spanish Sahara on January 11, 1976. [ citation needed ] Between 1975 and 1979, Villa Cisneros was the capital of the Mauritanian province of Tiris al-Gharbiyya , constituted on the portion of Western Sahara annexed by that country.

We will visit the last two reminders of the Spanish presence: the Church of Our Lady of Carmen and the three manhole covers that still mark Villacisneros.

👉 7- Dakhla - Tropic of Cancer: 99.3 km

Just a few kilometers from Dakhla lies the iconic Tropic of Cancer. We'll take a photo to commemorate the feat.

On the way back we will spend the night in El Marsa (next to El Aiun)

👉 9- El Marsa - Guelmin: 462 km

Guelmim, also known as Egleimín, is a city located in southwestern Morocco, about 200 km south of Agadir and 30 km from the Atlantic Ocean. Known as the "Gateway to the Sahara," Guelmim has historically been an important trading center and meeting point between sedentary and nomadic populations of the desert. One of its most notable attractions is the Amhayrich camel market, considered the largest in Morocco.

👉 10 - Guelmin -El Jadida: 564 km

El Jadida El Jadida, also known as Mazagan, is a port city on the Atlantic coast of Morocco, located approximately 96 kilometers southwest of Casablanca. Founded in the 16th century by the Portuguese, the city is renowned for its rich historical and cultural heritage. The Portuguese City of Mazagan , with its fortifications and Renaissance architecture, has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site, standing out as a notable example of the exchange of influences between European and Moroccan cultures.

Among the main attractions of El Jadida are:

  • The Citerne Portugaise : an underground cistern built in 1514, famous for its architecture and columns that reflect light, creating a mystical atmosphere.

  • The Church of the Assumption : built in Manueline style during the Portuguese occupation, it represents a testimony to the city's colonial past.

  • Beaches : El Jadida has beautiful beaches such as Deauville Plage and Sidi Bouzid, ideal for relaxation and water activities.
