Motorcycle routes for beginners: get off to a good start in the trail world

August 06, 2025

The world of trail riding is full of adventure, spectacular scenery, and freedom on two wheels. But if you've never ridden off the pavement before, it's only natural that you might have questions: Where do I start? What do I need? What happens if I fall? Don't worry, we all start there.

At RM Motos Trail School , we've been helping bikers like you for years, dreaming of discovering off-roading without getting into trouble. That's why we've designed both motorcycle routes for beginners and training courses so you can start from scratch safely, with training, and a good vibe .

Motorcycle routes for beginners

What is a beginner trail route?

A trail ride for beginners doesn't mean "boring." It means legal, controlled, and tailored to your level , where you'll enjoy riding without endangering yourself or your bike.

✅ Key Features:

  • Compact terrain: dirt tracks without loose stones or technical mud

  • Short stretches: between 50 and 100 km daily

  • Moderate elevation: slight or very gradual slope

  • No complicated steps: no trials, ruts, or technical sheaths

  • Accessible in case of emergency

  • Planned itinerary with rest stops and asphalt alternatives

Why start in a group and with training?

Experience shows: riders who start out alone or without training end up abandoning trail riding after a crash or a frustrating experience. On the other hand, those who ride with guidance and support enjoy it from day one.

Benefits of starting with us:

  • We teach you the basics before rolling

  • You practice first on a circuit or single track

  • You go in a group with people like you, without pressure

  • We have instructors like Javier Monje or José Cuenca , who adapt the rhythm

  • We give you confidence and ease so that you can then ride on your own.
